About this Work
This table top art project was started in 1997 as a student summer practice for second year in Art Academy. The goal was creating of classic ornament in style of Florentine mosaic or Pietra Dura (Hard stone) by using stone which has a 7.5 hardness on the scale of Mohs. This high hardness of stone makes this mosaic unique one of the kind around the world. Remodeling the new wood base for table top was started in 2025 and still going under construction.
